Paint A Smile

Eeeeeee~ This was for the V.A.S.E Competition in our school district.
It was a bit meh when I printed it at FedEx though, the colors got a bit darker....

Well about a month ago ~Dark-Twin was feeling down, you know the occasional artist angst time you sometimes get? At the time I was struggling for an idea for V.A.S.E, but after I gave her some pep talk I thought of something awesome for V.A.S.E and her. So yeah, ~Dark-Twin was my inspiration.

I wanted to draw us together, laughing after painting for the hell of it (sadly we never actually created a painting together...so this is like a dream image lol).

Program Used: Open Canvas 4.5, Photoshop CS2
Time took: 6-8 hours (seriously I need to time myself or something)

I've known you for three years and still wish to attempt to steal your sketchbook (yet you don't bring it to school anymore). You're still a crazy German vampire that loves to abuse memes. At the same time you sometimes suffocate from the insanity we have to go through, life, school, and art. Ocasionally, it's the same for me and probably others so there's no way you're the only one feeling this way.
Just keep walking, rest a little if you need to, and get back up when you fall. There's no dead end unless you create it.
I painted you a sky and a smile. Soon you can soar up and find yourself and become stronger.
Six weeks left, but we'll still be epic fail buddies, right?
